The tools needed to do the Chinese knot: (when you start to do it, you do not need to buy it in a hurry) Lighter: Most of the wire used in the Chinese knot is chemical fiber, a burn will melt, you can use this to stick the two lines together. It is often used when the ends need to be joined by alternate stitches. The upper end of the flame of the lighter is yellow, the temperature is higher, the oxygen content is higher, it is easy to burn here, the lower end is blue, the temperature is lower, the oxygen content is low, it is more suitable for burning the line, but the speed is slower... Some knots do not need to be connected to other lines after the end of the burning line, but need to press the side of the lighter to make the place become flat and not easy to disperse. There should be a small supermarket or something, and candles should work, but I think a lighter is more convenient...
Big eye needle: I have two, the top is a special Chinese knot, the bottom was originally a sweater needle... The role of the needle is the lead, X treasure on the sale of Chinese wire should be sold, buy a little attention to the eye is big enough to pass through the fifth line and the needle is not sharp on the line, about 2 yuan
Bead needle & Positioning plate: The bead needle, as the name suggests, is the needle with beads on it (nonsense), which together with the positioning plate plays the role of fixing the line in the braiding process. Bead needle some stationery will have, or generally sell Chinese wire will also have, positioning board do not sell Chinese wire to buy, too expensive, the following picture is my foam floor mat to find out, use this
Other tools: meter stick and scissors should not I say it... Tweezers, depending on personal habits, like I think that tweezers are not as good as their own PAWS did not buy; Ordinary needle and thread can help set the shape, but no special preparation is required; Hot glue I'm sure you ladies who have made bows know how to use them better than I do; Hairspray is also used to set the hair, usually with hair spray is OK
Chinese knot required wire: (since one can see the picture I will not send a picture) commonly used lines are the fifth line, jade line and fringe line. From the name of Line 5, everyone knows that there must be line 1, Line 2 and so on... There are one to seven lines, with one being the thickest, seven the thinnest, and five and four the most commonly used. Line 5 is generally used to weave small pendants and relatively thick bracelets, line 4 is generally used to weave medium and large pendants, line 5 is suitable for novice practice. The fifth thread on X treasure is generally divided into loose thread (sold by bundles), axis (sold by axles) and catty (......). It is recommended to use the axis because the axis is generally branded and the quality is not too bad... But the loose thread has the advantage that it is very soft, which is very suitable for novice practice. The specific brand I do not recommend, but pay attention to the different brands of color cards are different, tassel line recommended to buy the same brand. Jade line is A very thin line, generally 1mm~2mm, divided into a jade line and B jade line (I can't tell.....) Generally used to make a variety of bracelets and three-dimensional accessories.
Taiwan line is harder than the mainland line, do bracelets and three-dimensional accessories recommended mainland line, do chain recommended Taiwan line. Tassel line is used for tassel, slightly thinner than jade line soft, good tassel line hanging effect is very good, of course, it is more expensive... If you buy tassels, you should buy the corresponding tassel set and the thin gold thread wrapped around the tassel. If you do not want to buy, you can also remove the fifth line to use. Other wire: Strands can be used to make tassels or very thin bracelets or winding; Snake-belly line and flat line are used to make ordinary knots instantly become tall, but it is difficult for beginners to adjust the line, buy carefully; Gold thread Silver thread can be used for piping, but this is all up to personal preference
Formal tutorial double link: This is the most widely used knot in Chinese knot, used to connect two knots, so the name double knot, is generally the first knot in a Chinese knot and the last knot except the tassel, is the simplest knot in Chinese knot, Compared with the single knot (that is, the knot that the average person will tie with a knot), the advantage is that after the single knot is finished, the front line and the back line will generally have a certain Angle, and the line before and after the double connection is parallel, which is a variant of the two flowers and two strands of the knot (← This sentence does not mind what I will say later). Be careful when you reel it in so that the force is even or it will skew
Button knot: also known as the diamond knot, the garlic knot (because it looks like it) is sometimes used instead of the double knot because it is more beautiful than the double knot. Because the knot made with the fifth thread is similar to the size of a bead, it is often used as a button at the end of the bracelet, and it is a variant of the four-flower and three-strand knot (the text on the figure refers to how to reach the next picture, if you do not understand it, please see the previous picture together).
Double money knot: it is a knot that cannot bear weight and is easy to deform, so it is often used in the decoration of the knot edge (the six white circles in the town building are six double money knots), and it is four flowers and three knots (← To guess what this sentence means, hint that the button knot is also four flowers and three knots oh).
